Leadership Management

Identifying and developing the Gaps between current leaders capability and capacity and the desired level.

Scope

Leaders appear in many forms and at many levels within an organisation. Primarily we see our leaders as those in management positions and those in management positions have usually found themselves there because they are simply good at their job. The challenge at this point is to assess whether their job is to "do" or to "lead". Leadership can be innate but it can also be learned. Developing and supporting leadership behaviour is essential to both the leader and the organisation.

Objectives

  • Discover the individual leadership styles of those expected to lead
  • Develop an understanding of the kinds of behaviours effective leaders exhibit
  • Develop strategies for appropriate leadership behaviours
  • Develop an understanding of the process of creating a vision
  • Develop an understanding of effective delegation and empowerment

Outcomes

  • Individual growth and development
  • Alignment of quality practices with personal capabilities
  • Enhanced concepts of team ethics
  • Harmonious working relationships
  • Decreased ambiguity in the workplace regarding roles and responsibilities
